JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's golf team finished the last tournament of the fall season Tuesday at Sunnehanna Country Club. The Lakers finished eighth in the 10 team field at the Red Flash Invitational hosted by Saint Francis.

Emily Ferguson led the way for the Lakers, tying for 21
st place. Ferguson fired off an 80 in the first round before improving two shots in Tuesday's second round with a 78. The sophomore played the front nine of the opening 18 holes at 1-over par 38 with eight pars.

Freshman
Lauren Iannetta shot 80-83 for a 36
th place finish. Iannetta shot 40 on the front and back in Monday's round.

Olivia Seaman has a strong start to the tournament, making a birdie on her opening hole on the par 5 11
th hole. Seaman finished the opening round with an 83 followed by an 81 in the second round.

Danielle Walker finished a stroke behind Seaman, carding rounds of 83 and 82.

Molly McGreal rounded out the lineup for the Lakers with scores of 86 and 80.

The Lakers bested the Atlantic 10's Saint Joesph's and La Salle who finished ninth and tenth respectively. Mercyhurst shot rounds of 326 and 321 to take eighth.

Bucknell won the team trophy, with scores of 302-297.
