ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's golf team finished action at their home Evann Parker Memorial Tournament Monday afternoon at Lake View Country Club. The Lakers finished third out of six teams, with freshman
Lauren Iannetta claiming a second-place finish.

Iannetta carded matching rounds of 79 to take second in the field of 36. In Sunday's opening round, the Eastlake, Ohio native made 11 pars and no double-bogeys, recording a 4-over 40 on the front and a 3-over 39 on the back.

Iannetta shot another round of 79 in the second round, again firing a 40 on the front and 39 on the back with two birdies.
The team posted scores of 330 and 323 to finish third behind Manhattan and Saint Francis. Niagara, Maryland Eastern Shores and La Salle rounded out the six team field.Â

Avery Paez also landed in the top 10, shooting 81-80 in the Lakers home tournament. Paez made three birdies over the two rounds, including two on the front nine during the second 18 holes Monday.

Emily Ferguson tied for 11 with rounds of 85 and 81, making 10 pars in Monday's second round to improve by four strokes.

Molly McGreal and
Danielle Walker rounded out the Lakers lineup. McGreal carded rounds of 85-83 while Walker shot 85-84.

Three individuals represented the Green and Blue at the tournament.
Olivia Seaman tied for 15 with scores of 82-86.

Emma Hotchkiss (115-101) also participated as individuals.
