ERIE, Pa—The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team is set for the PSAC Championship taking place April 28-30. The team heads to Kutztown, Pa. for the 54-hole event at Burkleigh Golf Club. 
 
The Lakers have had a successful spring campaign so far finishing within the top-five in all five events and continuing their streak from the fall. The team's best finish came at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational as they took the top team honor while Alyssa Ballaro earned a runner-up finish. 
 
Isabella Walter and Kymberly Henry have tied for the best stroke average this spring at 83.7. Following closely behind is Ballaro at 84.9. 
 
The past three conference championships have seen Mercyhurst earn a runner-up finish. Last year, the team posted a 54-hole score of 995 (344-327-324) at Burkleigh Golf Club. Walter had the best finish for the Lakers at T-6 posting a score of 242 with a low round of 74. Henry and Sofi Carrizosa both earned T-11 finishes.
