ERIE, Pa. - The Men's Tennis team concluded their weekend of matches against West Liberty and Shepherd.
The team dominated both matches, 4-3 and 7-0.
Friday, Mar. 24, 2023 the Lakers faced the West Liberty Hilltoppers.
Ben Davis and Noha De Sousa Pereira were victorious on the doubles side, winning their match 6-3. The Hilltoppers won the other two to earn the point.
The Lakers, determined to take the lead, used all positions in singles. De Sousa Pereira, Hristo Plasheski, Lukas Cabue Valverde, and Kiran Richards battled to earn four points for the team. Plasheski and Cabue Valverde all went into tie breakers, and Richards forced three sets.

The Lakers saw more on-court action on Sunday against Shepherd. The Lakers swept the Rams 7-0.
Doubles was a clean sweep, with the Rams' third pairing not able to provide a complete team.
The Lakers wiped the board in singles matches, with everyone winning. The six spot was an automatic win for the team, as the Rams were unable to provide a player.
