Erie, Pa. - The Lakers faced the Daemen University Wildcats this evening at Westwood Racquet Club. The team had a clean sweep, 7-0.
The Lakers claimed all the doubles matches to earn the point. The duo of Avik Agrawal and Juan Carlos Hernandez Briones were the first to finish. They doubled the Wildcats 6-3. Ben Davis and Noha De Sousa Pereira secured the point with a set score of 6-4. Hristo Plasheski and Lukas Caube were the final pairings to finish with another 6-3 in the book.
Plasheski and Caube stayed hot and gave the Lakers the 3-0 lead. Next to finish was De Sousa Pereira. He earned his first win this season. Davis had a battle in his second set but claimed it 7-5. Agrawal and Hernandez Briones did not disappoint and finished last to secure the sweep.
