Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Men's Soccer team is set for their final game of the regular season as they host Cal (Pa.) in a PSAC matchup. The start time for the match is set for 2 PM. The Lakers will look to lock up home field advantage throughout the PSAC tournament.

Just a few weeks ago the Lakers beat Cal (Pa.) 2-0 at Cal. In the win, Ignacio Gallego scored both Lakers goals, while Frank Lovett and Dylan Sumner added assists. The win extended the Lakers' win streak to five games.

This past week the Lakers beat UPJ 2-1, and Slippery Rock 2-0. In the win over UPJ, the Lakers went down 1-0 early in the game, but scored two unanswered goals in the second half to beat UPJ. Jonathan Chase and Dylan Sumner scored the Laker goals. In the win over Slippery Rock, Jonathan Chase scored the first Laker goal just three minutes into the game. Julius Becker added another goal late in the game to extend the lead and put the game away.

The Lakers are looking to clinch a bye in the first round of the tournament for the second year in a row. The PSAC tournament will start on November 6th with the quarterfinal matchups.
