Brookville, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Women's Golf team participated in day one of the Clarion Fall Invitational today. After a strong day all around for the Lakers, they currently sit in second place as a team, only trailing Gannon.  

After day one of the tournament, Kymberly Henry and Lauren DeArment are both tied for third after both shooting 81 today. Sofia Carrizosa is currently tied for 12th after shooting an 85. Lena Jones who is playing as an individual is also tied for 12th after shooting an 85. Alyssa Ballaro is close behind, shooting an 86, which is good for 14th all by herself. McCarthy Lang, who is also playing as an individual, is currently in 24th by herself after shooting a 95 in round one. Isabella Walter, who isn't far behind with a 96, is currently in 25th. As a team the Lakers are currently in second with a team score of 333. 

Round two of the Clarion Fall Invitational will start tomorrow morning at 9:30 AM.
