Erie, Pa.—Kymberly Henry was selected as the PSAC Athlete of the Week for her performance during the Charleston Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
Her 36-hole total of 151 (76-75) was good enough to earn her fourth overall in a field of 63 athletes. Henry's first 18 was highlighted by her one-over performance on the front nine with two birdies. She drained one more on 14 to end day one +4 and T-4.
Henry found four more red figures in her second round bringing her total birdies to seven only two behind the tournament lead. The senior also played the par 3's the best of anyone at the tournament at even par.
The Erie native's fourth place finish helped lead the Lakers to a third-place team finish. Henry and the Lakers are back in action on Friday to host their fall home tournament at Lake View Country Club.
