ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst Men's Tennis team dropped their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon to the Fighting Scots of Edinboro by a 5-2 margin. With the loss, the Lakers will finish second in the PSAC just behind Edinboro.

In doubles, the tandem of Ben Davis and Noha De Sousa Pereira secured the lone Laker victory when they defeated their opponents 7-5. In singles, the top three Lakers of David Akinpetide, Milan Jankovic, and Ben Davis all dropped their matches in three sets. 

At No.5 singles Hristo Plasheski earned a win for the Lakers by a 5-7,7-5,6-2 margin and Morris Haab picked up a win in No.6 singles in straight sets, 7-6,6-3.

The Lakers will be back in action two weeks from now at the PSAC Championships in Bloomsburg.
