Washington, Pa – The Mercyhurst Men's Tennis Team extended its winning streak to four on Tuesday afternoon by defeating West Liberty by a 4-3 score.

The Lakers doubles pair of Noha De Sousa Pereira and Ben Davis continued their hot run by picking up a 6-3 victory for the green and white. West liberty did manage to pick up the point from the doubles matches as they came away with two wins in the remaining matches.

In singles play, Milan Jankovic (6-2,6-2), Morris Haab (6-3,6-3), De Sousa Pereira (6-1,6-4), and Davis (7-5,6-2) all collected wins in straight sets to propel the Lakers past the Hilltoppers in dramatic fashion.

The Lakers will be back on the courts this Sunday when they will match up with PSAC foe Shepherd University at 1:00 p.m.
