Erie, Pa – The Mercyhurst Men's Tennis team claimed its third win in a row on Saturday afternoon by defeating Millersville by a 5-2 score.

The Lakers earned their first win of the day thanks to a 6-2 victory by  the tandem of Noha De Sousa Pereira and Ben Davis on the doubles court. 

The pair also earned two of the five Lakers wins in singles play as it was De Sousa Pereira winning his match in three sets 6-1,3-6,6-2 and Davis in straight sets 6-2,6-2. Morris Haab picked up a win in straight sets as well, winning 6-3,6-3.

Milan Jankovic and Hristo Plasheski rounded out the Lakers singles winners as Jankovic won his match 6-3,6-7,10-5 while Plasheki was victorious by a 3-6,6-1,6-1 score.

The Lakers will return to action next Tuesday at West Liberty University.
