Erie, Pa. – The Mercyhurst Men's Tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory over visiting Fairmont State on Wednesday afternoon at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie.

The tandem of Ben Davis and Noha De Sousa Pereira began the match by winning the Lakers their first point courtesy of a 6-3 doubles win. Hristo Plasheski and Morris Haab also won their doubles match by a 6-2 margin.

In singles, the Lakers went five for six with Desousa Pereriara, Plasheski, Davis, Kiran Richards, and Milan Jankovic all earning victories for the green and white.

The Lakers will continue their home stretch at the Erie Racquet Club tomorrow where they will host the Golden Rams of West Chester at 11:45 AM.
