Winter Park, Fl. – The Mercyhurst Men's Tennis team fell 7-0 to Ferris State University on Friday afternoon.

Ferris State secured their first points of the match by sweeping all three doubles matches 6-3,6-4,6-4. In singles play, David Akinpetide won his opening set 6-4 then proceeded to lose the following two 1-6,6-10. 

The won set by Akinpetide was the lone of it kind in the contest for the Lakers, with Noha DeSousa Pereira nearly earning a set after forcing his opponent to a 6-7 first set.
