INDIANAPOLIS – Due to COVID-19 protocols the NCAA has announced that the NCAA North Regional game slated for Sunday between the third seed Mercyhurst University Lakers and the second seeded Mercy College Mavericks has been canceled. 

With the no contest between the two sides the Lakers will advance to the North Regional Final next Sunday beginning at 1pm at Saxon Stadium against either Le Moyne College, Saint Anselm College or Seton Hill University. 

Mercyhurst is coming off their second consecutive Great Midwest Athletic Conference title thanks to an 11-7 win last Saturday over Seton Hill University.  Thanks to a hat trick from Zach Lorenz and two goals each from Jacob Emerson, Bryce Johnson as well as Caleb Kueber.  Cole Pellicano made ten stops in cage to aid in the victory.
