Mercyhurst Releases Fan Policy for NCAA Men's Lacrosse North Regional

ERIE, Pa. - Mercyhurst University has announced their fan policy for the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse North Regional to be held at Saxon Stadium starting on May, 14 then continuing on the 16th, before finishing the following Sunday the 23rd with the regional final.

Below is the fan policy: 
  • The game will be held at Saxon Stadium at the site of Mercyhurst University.  The address is 501 E. 38th St. in Erie, PA 16546.
  • Mercyhurst is committed to all regulations for mask wearing in accordance with CDC and NCAA Guidelines. Masks will not be required for fully vaccinated fans while inside Saxon Stadium. Anyone who is not vaccinated must wear a mask. Fans must still wear masks when walking around the campus. Please distance yourself when possible.
  • Fans can purchase tickets online by CLICKING HERE! All tickets are $5, not including online/phone fees.  Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.  If available, tickets will be available on the day of the game as well.  Fans will be able to pay in cash if preferred with no fees, or can go online by scanning the QR Code at the table.  On gameday, available tickets will be sold starting at 11:30 am with faceoff scheduled for 1 pm.
  • Prior to arriving on campus, fans attending the game must fill out the Mercyhurst Guest Screening form and put athletics@mercyhurst.edu as the email address of the person you are visiting.  Fans must show the completed form to the Mercyhurst Staff at the ticket table.
  • Fans will be given a bracelet upon entry that they must show Mercyhurst staff when re-entering the stadium.
  • All visitors are subject to bag checks by Mercyhurst officials.  
  • No alcohol is permitted inside Saxon Stadium. 
  • There will be no contact with student-athletes or mingling between student-athletes and team personnel before or after events.
  • Gates will open 90 minutes prior to the official game start time. Fans must leave immediately after the completion of the game.  
  • Spectators sitting in bleachers will sit in designated areas that are marked for social distancing.
  • Families will be required to stay in their pods from other groups.
  • Concessions will not be available.
  • Spectators will be required to vacate the facility within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the game as the stands will be cleared between the two semifinals.  
  • Any spectator refusing to comply with these policies will be immediately removed from the facility or denied entry.  This policy will be strictly enforced.
Additional Safety Measures
  • Signage will be placed throughout facilities encouraging social distancing and mask-wearing.
  • Hand sanitizing stations and wipes will be placed throughout the facility.
  • Any high touch areas will be frequently cleaned before, during, and after events.
  • Campus staff and administration will be on-site to ensure safety measures are followed.
