WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's tennis team posted a 7-0 victory over host West Chester Saturday afternoon. 

The Lakers took all three doubles matches. David Akipetide and Milan Jankovic scored a 6-2 victory in the top flight. Unai Amiletta Gonzalez and Arseniy Skylarov posted a 6-2 win at number two and the number three duo of Hristo Plasheski and Kiran Richard scored a 6-1 victory. 

Gonzalez remained undefeated in conference singles play with a 6-4, 6-2 win at number one singles. At number two, Akinpetide won 6-2, 6-0. Jankovic played third singles and won 6-1, 6-0. 

Plasheski added a 6-4, 6-1 victory at number four while Skylarov picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at nubmer five. Richard completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-3 decision at nubmer six. 

The Lakers are back in action on Saturday when they host Edinboro at noon at the Westwood Racquet Club.
