ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst tennis teams will take on a pair of Division I opponents when they host St. Francis University on Friday and travel to Alpha to take on Duquesne on Sunday.

The Lakers and Red Flash will meet at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Westwood Racquet Club. The match on Sunday with the Dukes is slated for a 1:30 p.m. start.

Both the men's and women's teams dropped 6-1 decisions to host St. Bonaventure on Saturday. 

Unai Amilleta Gonzalez led the Lakers men's team picking up a singles win as well as teaming up with Arseniy Sklyarov for a doubles victory. 

On the women's side Janice Theodora and Valentine Budin combined for a doubles victory. Theodora would also score a win in her singles match.
