Erie, PA—Coming off a weekend in which they went 4-1 against Salem and D'Youville, the Mercyhurst Baseball team has moved up to second in the NCBWA Atlantic Region Poll. The Lakers enter their first weekend of PSAC play with a record of 9-3.

Mercyhurst fell to Salem on Friday to open their five games this past weekend. On Saturday, the Lakers were able to beat Salem twice by scores of 4-2 and 8-3. On Sunday, Mercyhurst hosted D'Youville for a doubleheader, the Lakers beat the Saints 12-2 in the first game and scored a season high 19 runs in the second game of the day to win 19-2.
