CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Mercyhurst men's tennis team fell 4-3 to host Charleston Saturday afternoon. 

The Lakers took the doubles points going 2-1 in paired play. David Akinpetide and Milan Jankovic picked up a 6-4 win in top-flight doubles. Unai Amilleta Gonzalez and Arseniy Skylarov posted a 7-5 win in number two doubles. 

Akinpetide added a singles win at number one doubles over John Giesberts 7-6, 2-6, 7-6. Gonzalez scored a straight set win at second flight singles 6-2, 6-3. 

Mercyhurst will close out the trip with a Sunday match with Fairmont State.
