Box Score ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's tennis team defeated St. Francis 7-0 on Saturday at the Westwood Racquet Club.

The Lakers swept the doubles with wins from Cormac McCooey and Hristo Plasheski at No. 1, Unai Amilleta Gonzalez and Arseniy Sklyarov at No. 2 and Pranav Sadhvani and Sebastian Pardo at No. 3.

Doubles finished in the order of 3,1,2.

Mercyhurst then swept the singles matches as well. McCooey won at No. 1 singles in two matches, Gonzalez won at No. 2 in two matches, Plasheski won at No. 3 in two matches, Sklyarov won at No. 4 in three matches, Pardo won at No. 5 in three matches and Sadhvani won at No. 6 in two matches.

Singles finished in the order of. 3,2,1,4,5,6.

The Lakers are back in action on Sunday when they host Daemen at 3:30 p.m.
