Box Score  ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – The Mercyhurst men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Dominican College during non-conference action on Tuesday.
 
Connor Wilkinson scored the Lakers' lone goal while Alex Garcia Piles tallied an assist.
 
In the 17th minute, Dominican (2-4) got on the board first with a goal from Nicholas Julien. He was assisted by Casares Martinez.
 
Mercyhurst (2-1-1) tied the game at 1-1, when Wilkinson scored his fifth goal of the season. Piles assisted the goal during the 20th minute.
 
During the second half, Julien scored his second goal of the game to give Dominican a 2-1 lead and eventual win. Jean Paul Lyons grabbed an assist.
 
In net, Martin Jarc made three saves for the Lakers while Tyler Doll made two saves for the Chargers.
 
Dominican held a 11-7 advantage in shots while Mercyhurst had a 2-1 edge in corner kicks.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Sept. 28 when they travel to Findlay for a 3:00 p.m. game.
