The Mercyhurst men's water polo team is ready to host the Laker Invitational on Sept. 13-15 at the Haggerty Event Center.
 
The following teams will be at the tournament; Mt. San Antonio, Washington & Jefferson, University of Toronto, La Salle, Gannon, Penn State Behrend and Salem International.
 
The Lakers start off the weekend with a match against Mt. San Antonio on Sept. 13 at 8:40 p.m. On Saturday they will play W&J at 9:30 a.m. They finished off the weekend on Sunday by matching up with Toronto at 8:30 a.m. before playing La Salle at 11:00 a.m.
 
Last weekend, the Lakers fell 12-11 to Michigan State Club, 18-9 to Gannon and won 11-5 over Washington & Jefferson. During the weekend, Ryan Witoslawski led the Lakers with five goals and one assist. Alex Cappuccio and Nebyat Mamo each recorded five points, Joel Parnell had three goals and Mathieu Davis had two goals.
