LEBANON, Ill., – The Mercyhurst women's water polo team split its first day of the McKendree Invite losing 10-9 in overtime to McKendree before winning 10-3 to Carthage on Saturday.

The Lakers are back in action on April 7 when they take on Salem and Monmouth.

McKendree 10, Mercyhurst 9
Maddie Nye scored three goals and added an assist,
Sarah Hershey had two goals and one assist and
Jennifer Moshinsky scored two goals. Single goals were credited to
Rachel Morris and
Lindsey Mizrahi.
Mason Feldstein and
Sarah O'Keefe each had one assist.

Morris and Nye had three steals each.

O'Keefe made four saves in net and had two steals.

For McKendree, Emily Westlove scored four goals, Kaitlyn Moguel and Maddy Bolton tallied two goals and single goals were earned by Brianna Mullalley and Carley Manuel.

Isabella Strimling made 11 saves in net for McKendree. She also had two steals.
