WACO, Texas -- Junior fullback Theophilus Blackston III was named to the Don Hansen Gazette All-Super One Region First Team, while punter Brendan Cole, tight end Bryce Mostoller and cornerback Dante' Redwood were selected to the Third Team, as announced on Wednesday.

Blackston, a native of Wheeling, W. Va., shifted from the defensive side of the ball -- as a lineman -- to fullback during the 2017 season. He was utilized in the passing attack, totaling 30 receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns. Blackston averaged 7.0 yards per catch.

Cole, a redshirt-sophomore from Queens, N.Y., had 44 punts for 1,872 yards in 2017 -- an average of 42.5 yards per punt. He ranked second in the PSAC in average and first in the PSAC West. His net average was 33.4. Cole also finished tied for third in the PSAC -- and led the PSAC West -- with seven punts of 50-plus yards. His longest punt was 59 yards. He put seven kicks inside the opponents' 20-yard-line.

Mostoller, a junior from Somerset, Pa., had 14 receptions for 128 yards. He averaged 9.1 yards per catch. He had a pair of four-reception performances, coming against East Stroudsburg and Edinboro. He totaled 51 yards versus ESU and 22 in the contest against Edinboro.

Redwood, a junior from North Ridgeville, Ohio, led Mercyhurst with 14 pass breakups. That total ranked him third in the PSAC and second in the PSAC West. He also had two interceptions, which he returned for a total of 101 yards. Redwood also had 51 total tackles, including two tackles-for-loss.
