LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Mercyhurst men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 non-conference decision to 40th-ranked Florida Southern on Tuesday.

The host Moccasins won 2 of 3 doubles matches before taking 5 of 6 during singles play.

Joaquin Aguilera and Conor McCooey got Mercyhurst on the board in pairs play, winning the third doubles match over FSU's Jose de Sario and Blaine Miller, 8-6.

Nenad Terzic was the Lakers' only singles winner, outlasting Fabian Lundberg at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
