Men's Lacrosse Ranked Fourth in Latest USILA Poll

PERRY, N.Y.- The Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team is ranked fourth in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) poll. The Lakers play at Alderson-Broaddus in an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) game Monday afternoon.
 
Adelphi is tabbed first as the lone unbeaten remaining in Division II. Le Moyne and Limestone are second and third, respectively. Mercyhurst checked in at #4, with Dowling in fifth. Tampa, NYIT, Merrimack, and Pfeiffer are 6-9 this week. Florida Southern and Wheeling Jesuit are tenth and eleventh, respectively. Seton Hill and LIU Post are tied for 12th, while Queens and Lake Erie round out the rankings.
 
The Lakers have won six straight entering today's match. They beat LIU Post, 9-7, April 12, at Tullio Field. Jake McAndrew and Trevor Vargo each recorded two goals and two assists, while Michael Grace made eight saves in net.
 
Following today's road game, Mercyhurst heads to #11 Wheeling Jesuit for another ECAC contest on Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m.
