#11 Men's Lacrosse Travels to #4 Dowling on Saturday

ERIE, Pa.- The #11 Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team travels to #4 Dowling on Saturday, March 29. The non-conference contest is set for a 2 p.m. start at Golden Lions Field.

The Lakers are 3-2 after beating Lindenwood, 10-5, last weekend. Jake McAndrew posted three goals and two assists, while Brandon Thomson recorded a pair of goals and two helpers. Tyler Nash made eight saves in goal.
 
Dowling has a 5-1 record, including a 10-7 win over NYIT March 22. Matt Crough had a hat trick and Frank Sommers tallied eight saves in net.
 
McAndrew leads the Laker offense with 15 points (nine goals, six assists). Brady Heseltine has 11 goals and Thomson has dished out a team-high nine assists. Deven Alves has added five goals and six helpers.
 
Billy Richardson paces the Dowling attack with 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists). Crough has a team-high 17 goals, while Kevin Mcelhone has added 15 scores.
 
Mercyhurst leads the all-time series, 9-8, including a win at Dowling last season. McAndrew registered three goals and an assist in the victory at Tullio Field.
