CENTERVILLE, Mass.- The Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team landed 23 student-athletes on the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Academic Team. The Lakers, who also advanced to the NCAA Championship, had the most players on the list.

The squad features student-athletes who had a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better through the 2012-13 academic year. This season was the first for the ECAC Division II Lacrosse League.

Mercyhurst had one of the best seasons in program history, going 18-1 on its way to the national title game. It recorded its second straight undefeated regular season, setting school records for wins (18) and one-goal wins (6).

Brian Scheetz and
Zac Reid were both honored as United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans, as well as USILA All-Americans.
Andrew Wagner was a First Team All-American and is one of 107 players on the ECAC All-Academic Team. The complete list is below.
