ERIE, Pa.- The top-ranked Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team will host Dominican (Calif.) on Tuesday, March 12, at Tullio Field. The non-conference game is scheduled for a noon faceoff.

The Lakers rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat #11 St. Michael's, 8-5, on Sunday afternoon.
Brian Scheetz posted two goals and an assist and
Michael Grace made 15 saves in net. Mercyhurst held the Purple Knights scoreless for 37:49 in the middle of the contest.
Coach
Chris Ryan's squad also remained at the top of the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) weekly poll, released Monday. The Lakers picked up six first-place votes to stay ahead of second-ranked Le Moyne. The Dolphins earned three first-place nods. Limestone kept its third place spot, grabbing the final first-place vote. Le Moyne and Limestone will meet in Baltimore this weekend.
Dominican is coming off a 9-6 loss at #10 Pfeiffer Saturday. Kevin Powers had a goal and three assists, while Jake Fritz and Cam Evangelho each scored twice. The match was even at 6 through three quarters before the Falcons pulled away.
Scheetz leads the Laker attack with 12 points on six goals and six assists this year.
Brady Heseltine has scored seven goals, while
Deven Alves has dished out six assists.
Mitch McAvoy has been strong to start 2013, winning 68 percent (35-51) of his faceoff tries. Grace is allowing 6.67 goals per game and has still yet to lose a regular season game in his career (16).
For the Penguins, Fritz and Evangelho each have 10 goals, while Cody Bernstein has nine goals and eight assists. Sean Donohue is giving up 8.54 goals per game.
