ANNAPOLIS, Md.- The Mercyhurst men's water polo team lost, 13-9, at Navy Friday night. Garret Schoeman led with three goals and two assists in the defeat.
 
The teams were tied at two after a quarter. The Lakers grabbed a 4-3 halftime edge before Navy answered with five third-quarter goals. The Midshipmen added five more scores in the fourth frame to pick up the victory.
 
Schoeman had a hat trick and two assists. Danilo Svorcan and Isaac Ogloblin scored three times each. Brett Luehmann dished out two helpers and Matt Cote posted nine saves in net.
 
Mercyhurst dropped to 15-4 and will play George Washington and Johns Hopkins tomorrow at Navy.
