ERIE, Pa. – Mercyhurst women's soccer is preparing to head on the road for a cross over weekend at East Stroudsburg University and Bloomsburg University Friday and Saturday.  Mercyhurst is currently ranked #10 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Atlantic Region poll.

 The Lakers are 3-1 going into the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) non division match-up.  They won their first two matches against Ashland University and Notre Dame College 1-0, before losing their first game against #1 Slippery Rock University 0-5.  Mercyhurst then bounced back in their last match against Urbana University (Ohio) in overtime taking the win 1-0.

#10 East Stroudsburg has a record of 1-0-2 going into the weekend.  The Warriors won one game against Tusculum University 2-1, and have gone into two overtime matches with a score of 1-1 against Concord University and Mansfield University.

Bloomsburg is 2-2 so far this season taking two wins from West Virginia Wesleyan in their season opener 1-0, and against Chestnut Hill 3-0.  The Huskies junior's Tara Huber, Jessy Shober, and freshman Taylor Gerstenfield all had one goal on Monday against Chestnut Hill.
