BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College men's tennis team closed out its weekend at Bloomsburg University on a less-than-postive note, losing to the hosting Huskies 6-3.
The loss dropped the Lakers' season record to 6-11.
Omar Ammouni was the biggest bright spot for Mercyhurst, winning his No. 4 singles match (6-4, 6-1) and then joined forces with
Adam Marnik to prevail in the No. 2 doubles match.
The Lakers will return to action on April 12 as they travel to Edinboro University to take on the Fighting Scots.
