VESTAL, N.Y. – The Men's Tennis team traveled to Binghamton, N.Y. for the Binghamton Tennis Championships, taking place over Friday through Sunday, hosted by Binghamton University.

In singles competition,
Lukas Cabue Valverde,
Petar Belosevic, and
Mykhailo Polishchuk each posted perfect 3-0 records over the weekend, while
David Mengher and Nikola Radisic each secured a pair of wins for the Lakers.

Polishchuk and Valverde each earned an appearance in the tournament final for their respective flights.

Danylo Rekun,
Derek Winsnes,
Raul Davalos, and
Kazumasa Sadohara each gained a win over the weekend as well.

Winsnes and Mengher each appeared in the tournament semifinal for their flight as well.

In doubles competition, the team of Belosevic and
Colm Schultz posted a perfect 3-0 record, with an appearance in the tournament final. The teams of Rekun and Mengher, Valverde and Radisic, and Polishchuk and Winsnes supported with a win for the weekend.

The team of Valverde and Radisic appeared in the semifinal while Schultz and Belosevic moved on to the tournament final.

The Lakers will next travel to Princeton, N.J. for the ITA Northeast Regionals Oct 16.
