WHITE SULPHER SPRINGS, W. Va. -- Facing the Atlantic Region's second-ranked team, the Mercyhurst College men's tennis team fell at Bluefield State by an 8-1 decision.  

Omar Ammouni was the lone winner for the Lakers after pulling out a tight second set at No. 4 singles.  

Mercyhurst continues its southern swing with a stop in Raleigh, N.C. on Feb. 27 when the Lakers take on another Division II Atlantic Region foe in seventh-ranked Shaw University.
