Meadville, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College men's tennis team dropped its second match of the season, falling to Allegheny College, 8-1. 

Highlighting the Lakers' play was the doubles team of Jorn Van der Veer and Keith Whittingham, who defeated Max Hannessy/Uros Predic of Allegheny College. 

The Lakers continue action on Saturday, September 18 with a 10:00 a.m. home match against Millersville College.
