BALTIMORE, Md. – The Mercyhurst College men's lacrosse team remained No. 2 in the latest United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Coaches' Poll, released Monday by USILA officials.
The Lakers earned 72 points and two first-place votes after improving to 12-0 with their win over Notre Dame de Namur last weekend.
Le Moyne remained No. 1 with 78 points and six first-place votes. Dowling captured third with 63 points, followed by Limestone in fourth 52 points and C.W. Post in fifth with 51 points.
Merrimack (38), Bentley (35), New York Tech (20), Saint Leo (13) and Queens (N.C.) (5) rounded out spots 6 – 10.
The Lakers close out the home portion of their schedule this weekend when they host fifth-ranked C.W. Post on Senior Day Saturday, May 1, at 1 p.m. With a win against the Pioneers, Mercyhurst can capture the regular-season East Coast Conference title.
