BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The third-seeded Mercyhurst men's tennis team defeated host institution and No. 2 seed Bloomsburg 5-4 in PSAC semifinal action Friday, advancing to the PSAC final against No. 1 Kutztown.

Mercyhurst trailed 3-0 after three doubles matches, but stormed back with wins in five out of six singles matches, stunning the Huskies, 5-4.

The Lakers (13-10), winners of three in a row and six out of the last eight matches, will play Kutztown Saturday at 12 p.m. in the PSAC final. Mercyhurst fell 5-4 to Kutztown on March 26 in Erie. Mercyhurst finished in the consolation bracket last season, and is making its first appearance in the PSAC final.
