Meadville, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's tennis team fell 6-3 on the road Tuesday in its match against Allegheny College.
Kyle King, in the No. 1 singles match, and Ron Heurich at the No. 2 spot, both had strong showings for the Lakers in their matches, winning 6-2, 7-5 and 4-6, 6-4, 10-7, respectively.
The No. 1 doubles team of Heurich and Adam Marnik provided the Lakers only win in doubles, taking an 8-1 decision over Max Hennessy and Jake Allmaras
The Lakers return to action Saturday, Sept. 19, when they travel to Bloomsburg.
