Men's Water Polo Dumps Salem International, 13-4

ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst College men's water polo team secured another win Friday evening, downing Collegiate Water Polo Association foe Salem International 13-4 at the Mercyhurst Aquatic Center in North East, Pa.

The Lakers, who have not lost since a 15-4 setback at Navy back on Sept. 6, are now one win shy of tying the program record for most consecutive wins, a mark set at nine games during the 2006 season.  

Junior Alex Moggridge powered the Lakers (8-2, 6-0 CWPA) to their eighth-straight victory with a goal and five assists. Freshmen Colin Albue, William Page and Ian Tasman, and junior# Andy Sekulski# all scored two goals, while junior# Kane Ashton#, sophomore Gui Alves and freshman Adam Borgman found the back of the cage once.

Mercyhurst returns to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 10, with a 7 p.m. contest at Penn State Behrend.
