Chesterland, Ohio - Mercyhurst College senior Tyler Bidwell won individual medalist honors in a men's golf tri-match hosted by John Carroll University Saturday.

The match, held at Fowler's Mill Golf Course, was shortened by rainy conditions and darkness, forcing the golfers to finish after completing 16 holes. John Carroll scored 252 to win the match, keyed by Blake Ferguson's second-place finish, while Baldwin Wallace took second with 261 strokes. Mercyhurst came in third place with a score of 277.

Mercyhurst men's golf will be back in action Sunday, Sept. 14 and Monday, Sept. 15 at Clarion.
