2011-2012: Started all 28 games as a senior for the Lakers… as court general, averaged a team high 28.3 minutes played per game… the true point guard finished the season with 129 assists, helping the Lakers finish 2
nd in the PSAC in assists (15.93/g), 1
st in turnover margin (+3.21), and 1
st overall in assists/turnover ratio (1.16)… tallied more than 10 dimes in each of 3 wins over Urbana, East Stroudsburg and Lock Haven… although playing only two seasons as a Laker, Turner surpassed Terry Smith on the All-Time assists list at number 10, finishing with 278 career assists.
2010-11: Played in 26 of 27 contests, missing only one game for family reasons… started 25 of 26 games as the Lakers featured an all-senior lineup in the home-finale… effectively ran the Laker offense from his role as point guard… looks to dish more than score… ranked first in the PSAC in assists with 149 while averaging 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds… had an assist in every game, including a career-best 11 against Clarion (Feb. 19)…had 16 games with six or more assists… scored in 21 games with a best eight points at Slippery Rock (Jan. 22)… also a defensive threat with 28 steals, including five at city-rival Gannon on Jan. 26 in which the Lakers won for the first time in five tries in overtime against the Golden Knights…posted a career-best seven boards at East Stroudsburg on Jan. 4.
Prior to Mercyhurst: Turner spent two seasons with the Stags of Fairfield University, collecting 11 starts in 30 games during the 2009-10 season where he averaged 0.9 points and 1.7 rebounds while tallying 26 assists, 12 steals in 13.4 minutes. In his freshman campaign, Turner appeared in 25 games, including seven starts.
