2011-2012: Played in only 15 games this year due to an injury early in the season… despite only participating in half the Lakers games, Leao had an outstanding season finishing with 15.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game… Leao, who was recognized as the PSAC men’s basketball Scholar-Athlete at the Final Four, was on target in all 15 games played as he placed first on the team in both field goal percentage (.555) and 3-point field goal percentage (.520)… a leader on both the offensive and defensive ends, Leao finished 2
nd on the team in scoring (15.1/G), 2
nd on the team in blocked shots with 16 on the season (1.1/G), and 1
st on the team in rebounds averaging 5.3 rebounds per game… recorded two double doubles this year; one coming with a season high 27 points 10 rebounds in an overtime loss to Slippery Rock, while the other came in the PSAC Final Four loss to East Stroudsburg when he put up 18 points and 10 boards.
2010-11: Named All-PSAC West First Team… finished second on the team in scoring (17.5 ppg – 6th, PSAC) and first in rebounding (8.3 rpg - 7th, PSAC)… led the Lakers in scoring on nine occasions while posting team-bests in rebounding on 18 occasions… other PSAC ranks included 10th in free-throw percentage (80.2); 11th in blocks (29); 13th in field-goal percentage (52.9)… named PSAC West Athlete of the Week on Jan. 24 and Feb. 7… suffered knee injury in regular-season finale at IUP on Feb. 26… scored in double-figures in all but two of his 26 games played… posted a career-high 31 points against Edinboro (Feb. 2)… had personal-bests of 15 rebounds on two occasions (at ESU, Jan. 4 and at Edinboro, Feb. 23)… career-high four blocks against Davis & Elkins (Dec. 11)… recorded nine double-doubles on the season, the most for a Laker since 1999-2000… made 16-of-18 free throws against Clarion, setting the single-game record for made free throws and tying the attempts mark…had +20 points in five games, including two games with 30 or more points… posted 10 games with a field-goal percentage over 60.0… dominant inside force that also shoots from long-range, draining 23-of-53 3-pointers (43.4 percent)… that figure was third on the team… had a 3-pointer in 16 of 26 games.
