2010 All-PSAC West Second Team

2010:  Became the Lakers single-season rushing leader with 1313 yards on 289 carries… registered eight rushing touchdowns in 13 games… posted a career-best 237 yards and his first multiple rushing touchdown game (2) in a 28-20 victory over C.W. Post on Sept. 18… carried the ball a career-best 35 times in a 21-13 win over Slippery Rock on Oct. 30… had a personal-best three catches in a 28-27 come-from-behind victory against IUP on Oct. 9…career-best 25 receiving yards against Notre Dame in season-opener on Aug. 28… tied Mercyhurst record for consecutive 100-yard rushing performances (4) from Sept. 11 through Oct. 2… tallied seven 100-yard performances, including two over 150 yards and one over 200 yards... posted a 70-yard touchdown run against Kutztown to mark the fifth-longest TD run in Laker history, then followed with a 65-yard TD run the next week against CW Post to mark the eighth-longest… became the fourth Laker to have a 200-yard rushing performance.

2009:  Played in all 11 contests for the Lakers, splitting time at tailback and posting a breakout year in the process… ranked second on the squad with 110 carries for 507 yards and a shared team- high five touchdowns… had two 100-yard games, including a 17-for-108 yard performance with two touchdowns against Cheyney… he was one of two Mercyhurst backs to post a 100-yard performance against the Wolves, marking the first time since Nov. 8, 1997 that two Laker running backs finished with over 100 yards rushing.… one of two Lakers to have a rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game….posted a career effort against Gannon when he ran for 175 yards and two scores on 25 carries… became the first Laker to run for more than 150 yards in a game since Mercyhurst’s all-time leading rusher Richard Stokes did so in 2007 (162 yards vs Northern Michigan, Oct. 27)… also added an 11-yard touchdown reception against the Golden Knights… caught eight passes on the year for 20 yards… returned one kick for 26 yards in the season opener against Wayne State.

2008:  Played in six games...Carried the ball 22 times for 60 yards on the season, and rushed for one touchdown, the first of his career...Ran eight times for a career-high 32 yards in win at Cheyney Sept. 6, aiding Mercyhurst’s 320-yard rushing attack...Notched 21 yards on six carries and scored first career touchdown Sept. 20 vs. Clarion...Returned one kick for four yards.

2007: Played in six games as the team[apos]s third running back...Had 11 carries for 35 yards with a season-high 17-yard run...Also caught two passes for eight yards...Had a season-high six carries against Grand Valley State and a personal best 15 yards on the ground against the University of Indianapolis...Caught both of his passes against Grand Valley State. 

High School: Second team all-state...Second all-time leading rusher at Northern High School and all-time touchdown leader by a running back...First team all-conference and First Team All-Sentinel...Rushed for 1,500 yards and 25 touchdowns, averaging 9.8 yards per carry...Team won three division championships and advanced to the playoffs twice...Part of the winningest team in school history and the first team to go undefeated...Earned the Distinguished Achievement Award. 

Personal: Born Oct. 16, 1989...Majoring in business management...Parents are Gerald and Daphne...One sister Mackenzie...Cousin Jim Anderson is the running backs coach for the Cincinnati Bengals.
