2023-24: Had a very impressive first-year with Mercyhurst, recording 13 points. Sambrook was one of seven players to record double-digit assists during the season, helped by his breakout run against Canisius (12/2) and Army West Point (12/8-12/9) where he recorded four assists and his first career goal. Trent finished his season strong with a three-game point streak, recording assists against Niagara (2/22-2/24) and Canisius (3/2).
