2010: Started all 13 games for the Lakers and was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year and first-team selection… led the team in tackles (91 – 15th PSAC) and sacks (10.5 - -59 yds, 4th PSAC, T41 NCAA); finished second in tackles for loss (16.5 - -79 yds, 8th PSAC, T-85th NCAA)… registered career-high 14 tackles in 22-21 overtime win at Edinboro on Oct. 16… had at least three tackles in every game and eight or more in six contests… Helped defense to finish the regular season ranked nationally in total defense (17th, 271.73 y/gm); scoring defense (23rd, 18.36 ppg); rushing defense (17th, 95.64 y/gm); pass defense (36th, 176.09 y/gm); sacks (13th, 3.09) and tackles for loss (T19th, 7.91)… recorded a career-high 2.5 sacks at Notre Dame in season opener.
2009: All-PSAC West second-team selection at linebacker... CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Region First Team... Started final eight games of the season after missing first three with an injury… ranked seventh on squad with 41 stops (29 solo)… finished third in tackles for loss (7- -32 yards) and sacks (2.5- -19 yards)… helped the Lakers to the league’s fourth-best rushing defense, allowing just 118.5 yards per game… posted a tackle in every game, including his season-high of 11 stops in a 17-16 loss at Slippery Rock… also recorded a double-digit effort against West Chester (10)… had a tackle for loss in six contests.
2008: Started all 11 contests for the Lakers at linebacker... named to PSAC West First Team, along with ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA All-Region and Academic All-American First Team honors... first-ever Laker to earn Academic All-America status since 1998... led the Mercyhurst defense with 91 total tackles (49-42)... added 10 tackles for loss (-36 yards)... finished second in sacks (5.5) while rankings first in fumble recoveries (2)... ranked sixth in the PSAC in tackles per game (8.3) while tied for eighth in sacks... had double-digit tackles on four occasions, highlighted by a career-best 13 in back-to-back weeks against Gannon and IUP...posted five or more stops in every game... had a TFL in every game but four, including a three for -10 yards against Gannon...great ability to get through offensive line and pressure the quarterback, recording a sack in five different contests...
2007: Missed the season with an injury.
2006: All-GLIAC Honorable Mention...GLIAC All-Academic Team...second on the team with 79 tackles, tying for 12th in the GLIAC at 7.9 per game...had eight or more tackles in seven games...season-high of 12 tackles came against Indianapolis...led the team with 11 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, ranking tied for eighth in the conference in tackles for loss....two interceptions.
2005: Saw no action in 2005.
High School: Participated in football, baseball, basketball, and track...football team went 9-0 in senior year...threw for 1,000 yards as a senior with no interceptions...selected All-Conference, All-County, and All-State...member of the National Honor Society.
