2023: Appeared in all 19 games with starts in 12 of them. Finished with 34 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers for the most among any Lakers. Recorded multiple ground balls in 10 games with a season-high of five coming against Mercy on 4/1/23. Had at least one caused turnover in nine straight games with multiple in four straight and a season-high od three in back-to-back games against Lake Erie on 5/3/23 and Seton Hill on 5/6/23.

2022: Appeared in 14 games, starting four of them. He scored one goal and added two helper from his long stick midfield position. Also picked up 30 groundballs which was third best on the team, added 10 caused turnovers. 

2021: Appeared in 12 games off the bench, totaling a dozen groundballs and forcing two turnovers in addition to handing out an assist.  In a two-game stretch against Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus he racked up six groundballs, one goal and caused a turnover.  

2020: Appeared in two games off the bench. He totaled one groundball and forced a turnover.  

Major:  Biology

Prior to Mercyhurst: Played both lacrosse and basketball at Webster Thomas High School.  Was named an Academic All-American.  

Personal: Son of Mike and Sue Katz ... Has one sibling, sister, Anya.
