2021-22:
Appeared in, and started all 28 games for the Lakers. She became the 21st player in the history of Mercyhrust women's Basketball to record her 1000th point doing so in the teams season finale on 2/27 against Slippery Rock. Averaged 8.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while playing a team high 1,029 minutes. Additionally, she produced 29 steals and 14 blocks from her point guard position. She had 10 double digit scoring games including a season high 20 point performance on 1/17 against Seton Hill. She ended the season with two double-doubles, a 17 point and 11 board performance against Shippensburg, and a 11 point and 10 rebound game against Salem.

2020-21 Season:
Appeared in 15 games, making 13 starts during her senior season.  She continued to lead the team in both minutes played per game (31.3) and assists (64), while finishing tied for second in steals with 14.  Shopene also averaged 5.7 points and 4.6 boards per contest.  She had just two double-digit scoring games dropping 13 and 12 respectively against Gannon on March 6 and January 23.  Shopene recorded a pair of ten rebound games versus Salem (Dec. 15) and American International (Jan. 30).

2019-20 Season:
Appeared in and started all 28 games for the Lakers.  She was the team leader in assists (92), second in steals (31), third in scoring (9.5 ppg), and fourth in rebounds per game (4.2).  Shopene had 14 double-digit scoring games, which included a season-high 16 points twice against Shepherd (Nov. 24) and California (Pa.) (Jan. 25).  

2018-19 Season: 
Played and started all 28 games this season… was second on the team with 110 total rebounds… led the team with 63 free throws… tallied 22 three-pointers… had 79 field goals… picked up the most minutes played on the team… had 12 double digit games including a season high 21 points against Ursuline… averaged 8.7 points per game

2017-18 Season: 
Played in all 28 games...averaged 5.8 points per game and ranked fourth on the team in scoring...totaled season-high 18 points in 61-53 victory over California, Pa.(Jan. 20)...ranked third on the team in rebounds with 4.5 per game...had season-high eight rebounds in 60-50 loss at California,Pa. (Feb. 14)...led the Lakers in total steals with 27...recorded season-high three steals on two difference occasions.

Prior to Mercyhurst:
Played basketball in high school; senior year: third team all state, All-District 10 team, first team All-Region...junior year: third team All-State, first team All-Region...sophomore year: second team All-Region. Four year Varsity starter. Team captain junior and senior year...Played for the Erie Saints for eight years.
