2019 Season:
Appeared in 28 matches, making 25 starts playing in 102 sets.  She was one of five Lakers to record over 100 kills posting 114 on a .226 hitting percentage.  Kern was third on the side in aces with 15.  Defensively, she was second in blocks landing just one off the lead at 67, while chipping in 64 digs.  Her season-high nine kills came against Fairmont State on September 20th. 

2018 Season:
Appeared in 24 matches and 74 sets, making 19 starts. She finished second the team in blocks with 48, while adding 67 kills, 33 digs, and 15 aces. Kern posted four matches with five blocks and racked up a season-high seven kills twice. 

2017 Season:
Appeared in 27 games this season in which she registered 84 kills and 6 aces. She also recorded 26 digs and 62 blocks. 

2016 Season:
Played in three games for the Lakers recorded nine kills as well as a pair of digs and four block assists.

High School: Played volleyball for Upper Saint Clair.. was a 4 year varsity letterman, 3 time first team All Section. 

Personal: Born July 22, 1998.. Majoring in Communcations.. Daughter of Maegan and James.. has two sisters, Mary and Kelsey, and two brothers Hardy and Jimmy.
