NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Mercyhurst women's track and field team closed out their season at day two of the NEC Outdoor Championships. Highlighted by a top-five finish in field events, the Lakers earned four points on the day.
Freshmen
Isabella Hagerman and
Kennedy Butcher competed in the pole vault event. Hagerman placed fifth overall, clearing 3.25 meters, earning four points for the Lakers. Butcher placed 11
th overall, clearing 2.60 meters.
Junior Regan Pettis and senior
Bella Homorody competed in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Pettis placed 11
th overall with a time of 13:01.22. Homorody placed 12
th overall with a time of 14:17.72.
In the 5,000 meters freshman
Rowan Milliron placed 17
th overall with a time of 19:50.43.
