Baseball Travels To Nashville For Matchup Against Murray State

The Mercyhurst baseball team is set to play in a four-game series against Murray State at Jackson Field in Nashville. The series opens on Friday at 3 p.m., following a doubleheader on Saturday. Game one on Saturday starts at 12 p.m., while game two is expected to start at approximately 3:30 p.m.. The last game of the series is on Sunday, starting at 1 p.m.
 
Previous Results
The Lakers are 0-3 to start the season. They began their season on Friday, Feb 13 in South Carolina against with a three-game series against Wofford. The Lakers lost all three games in the series, and look to bounce back when this weekend.
 
Matchup History
This is the first time in program history that Mercyhurst will play Murray State.
 
Batting Leaders
Freshmen Dana Williams and Logan Koslin lead all eligible candidates with a .375 batting average. In his first collegiate at-bat, Williams hit a solo home run against Wofford. He also has a 1.125 OPS. Koslin displayed great bat-to-ball skills, obtaining three hits in his first five at-bats.
